PDF text extraction works best when the PDF already contains selectable text. Scanned PDFs are images, so they usually need OCR, which this site does not include.
Why are multi-page PDF images downloaded as a ZIP file?
A PDF can contain many pages. A ZIP file keeps all converted images together in one download.
What image formats are supported?
